CARTOONISTS RIGHTS depends on our growing community of Cartoonist Defenders to advocate and – when necessary – impose interventions to ensure our clients (cartoonists under threat) are able to express themselves freely, and thereby speak truth to power which in turn advances the rights of all of us. If you are a cartoonist, or if you appreciate the power of the medium when it’s allowed to express itself freely, we hope you’ll join our community of CARTOONIST DEFENDERS.

CARTOONISTS are invited to sign up, and help broadcast our message across their platforms. If you have any cartoons to that might help promote our message and you’re willing to donate them to the cause, we’d love to see them.

CARTOON FANS AND FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION ADVOCATES; we’d love to hear from you, and have you join our ranks of Cartoonists Defenders.

ORGANISATIONS, INSTITUTIONS, NON PROFITS and ACTIVISTS; please join our global network of like minded campaigners. We believe that unity is strength, and that by signing up with us you’ll be opening up opportunities for our mutual benefit.

LAWYERS and LEGAL PRACTITIONERS; please register with our Cartoonists’ Legal Advisory Network; a global network that volunteers a limited number of hours per annum to assist when called upon to defend cartoonists rights in your region or sphere of expertise.

DONORS, PHILANTHROPISTS and FUNDRAISERS are the backbone of any organisation such as ours, ensuring that we have the finances and capacity to do the work that we do. Of course, we appreciate any donation that comes our way, but we are especially seeking larger regular donors which would allow us to ramp up and maintain our work without expending our resources on ongoing fundraising campaigns.
