Presentation of ’The Fight for Free Expression: Defending Cartoonists Around the World’
If you can be at the Library of Congress on Tuesday, 23rd May (11:30am-1pm), then don’t miss this important presentation by experts in the field of cartooning and the freedom of expression; a highlight of our 2023 calendar and in our fight for the cause. Terry Anderson (Executive Director, Cartoonists Rights) will deliver the keynote address, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Freedom of Expression champion Roslyn Mazer with political cartoonists Kevin “KAL’ Kallaugher, Alexandra Bowman and Freedom of the Press advocate Karen Kaiser on the program. This event, titled ’The Fight for Free Expression: Defending Cartoonists Around the World’ will be hosted in the West Dining Room of the James Madison Building, Library of Congress, and is free of charge, and open to the public.
