“I like to call myself a cartoonist because whatever I have earned — not money, but a little name,  fame, and above all the purpose of my life — it is because I listened to the  cartoonist in me.” — Kanika Mishra

CRNI Courage in Editorial Cartooning 2014 award winner Kanika Mishra was one of the featured speakers at a recent TEDxYouth forum in Mumbai, India.  Ms. Mishra spoke to an enthusiastic audience about becoming a political cartoonist, facing down death threats, and using social media for the empowerment of women.
